 In 1990 "EKITA" was established as a private company for production of commutators by father and son Georgiev with their specialities electric engineer and engineer of machines and radio-electronic. 
 
 The company strarted as the main supplier of commutators for the production lines of strarters and generators for LADA, PERKINS etc. in "Dinamo" - Sliven, for DC electric motors in "Georgi Kostov" - Sofia, as well as in Trojan, Teteven and other Bulgarian companies. EKITA is producing more than 300 types of commutators and slip rings mainly for rebuilding exporting these for companies in USA , Canada , Italy , UK , Turkey , Slovenie. The produce DC motors of diameters ø80mm,  ø112mm, ø125 and ø150mm with nominal powers from 0,18kW to 4,5kW and nominal voltages from 12V to 80V for hydraulic systems, traction DC motors and for special driving systems. These are the most popular motors of this class, which are used generally in the automobile industry. The market of the motors is unlimited as we are selling in Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Holland , Sweden , Austria , German, Israel , Italy , Greece etc. generally to companies which are selling many types for spare parts. We are producing more than 100 types of DC motors, some of them are with less application but are more expensive and are used for different drive systems of boats (for example: in a yacht there are about 30 motors with definite functions).
